Germany and the Netherlands put together naval forces

The military cooperation between Germany and the Netherlands going exceptionally well for years. Now, Berlin and the Hague want to make another big step.

On Thursday, Germany and the Netherlands would like to make an even closer cooperation of their armed forces. According to the Government in the Hague, the plans envisage progressively to integrate the sea battalion of the German Navy based in Eckernförde in the Dutch Navy.
